By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, accessing learning materials, or using any part of the platform (including social features), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our associated policies (Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Honor Code, etc.). If you do not agree, you may not use ElaOnline.in.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ela. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Use of Services
Ela provides:

5. Content Sharing & Social Networking
Ela is a social learning platform, allowing users to post and interact freely while maintaining a respectful learning environment.

You may post or upload:
- Notes, comments, ideas, questions, and answers
- Assignment submissions and peer feedback
- Messages and posts on the feed or in private groups
You retain ownership of your content but grant Ela a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, display, and distribute it within the platform.
5.2 Community Behavior
You agree to:
- Communicate respectfully and constructively
- Avoid hate speech, bullying, or harassment
- Refrain from sharing misleading, harmful, or unrelated commercial content
Ela reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict content or users who violate these norms. Repeated violations may result in a ban.
6. Academic Integrity & Honor Code
You must complete quizzes, assignments, and exams independently unless explicitly stated as group work. Plagiarism, impersonation, or dishonest conduct is strictly prohibited.
7. No Academic Credit
Ela does not confer formal academic credit unless otherwise stated by an accredited institution. Completion of courses may earn you a certificate, but does not guarantee recognition by universities or employers.
8. Disclaimers
- Ela does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- Ela is not responsible for user-generated content.
- Courses and materials may change at any time without prior notice.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or act in a manner harmful to the community.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of Ela after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Refund Policy

Ela may offer both free and paid content. Our refund policy is as follows:
- If you purchase a paid course and are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you haven’t completed more than 25% of the course or downloaded course certificates.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- No refunds will be issued after certification has been granted.
Community & Content Guidelines

- Be supportive and constructive in discussions.
2. Content Standards
- No plagiarism, spam, or irrelevant links.
- Don’t post harmful, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
3. Posting Etiquette
- Keep discussions focused on learning and growth.
- Use your real identity where required (e.g., certifications or assignments).
Ela reserves the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these standards.
Honor Code

Ela encourages integrity in all academic and social contributions. As a learner, you agree:
- All submitted work (assignments, quizzes, projects) will be your own.
- You will not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or falsification.
- You will not share solutions to assessments with others unless in collaborative exercises authorized by the instructor.
- You will uphold respect and honesty in your interactions with peers and instructors.
Violating this Honor Code may result in academic consequences, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
