About ELA Online
We’re building a learning home for communities.
If you’ve built a study group, a course community, or a learning circle — we see the effort it takes. Keeping people active, organised, and consistent isn’t easy.
ELA helps communities turn scattered conversations into structured, trackable growth — through Study Rooms.
Your community deserves a learning home.
“Enjoy Learning Anything Together.”
Good learning is shared learning. It sticks better when people can ask, discuss, and practice together.
Vision
Where communities become classrooms — and learning feels more human, more consistent, and more connected.
Mission
Help learning communities transform scattered conversations into structured, trackable growth — through Study Rooms.
The problem we’re solving
Most learning groups start strong. Then chat gets busy. Important things get buried. People lose track.
- Learning gets lost in chats
- Resources disappear in scroll
- Communities struggle to stay consistent
- Admins get overwhelmed
What ELA is not
We’re not trying to grab attention. We’re trying to protect focus.
- Not another noisy platform
- Not built for endless scrolling
- Not made for distraction
- Not pushing notifications for attention
So how does ELA help?
Study Rooms bring structure without killing the vibe. It still feels like your community — just clearer and easier to manage.
People behind ELA
We’re building ELA with care. We love communities. We love learning. And we’re quietly obsessed with making it easier to stay consistent.
Christy Thomas
Christy Thomas is the founder of ela.online, a platform envisioned to transform the way people learn and connect. The idea grew from a simple observation — learning is most impactful when it’s shared. Christy believes education shouldn’t be confined to courses alone, but should feel like a community journey, where learners can study, collaborate, and grow together. With a background in computer science teaching and hands-on experience in robotics, Arduino, and STEM education, Christy has guided students through projects that blend creativity with technology. At Harvest International School, Christy leads the Atal Tinkering Lab, designing programs, hackathons, and project-based learning experiences that help students think critically and innovate fearlessly. Beyond the classroom, Christy brings a strong entrepreneurial and digital strategy mindset. From creating websites and applications in PHP, Django, and WordPress to developing branding and marketing solutions, Christy has supported businesses in building their digital presence. Freelance work in social media marketing and campaign strategy has further shaped an understanding of how communities thrive — insights that have directly influenced the design of ela. At the heart of Christy’s work is a balance of creativity and structure — whether building full-fledged applications, crafting robotics modules, designing ed-tech courses, or developing ela’s features, the mission remains the same: 👉 to make learning accessible, engaging, and social for everyone.
Let’s build better learning together.
